NBO 6.0 is announced!

Following years of program development and cooperation with affiliated ESS providers, leading members of the NBO Team (Eric Glendening, Frank Weinhold, Clark Landis) unveiled the new nbo6.chem.wisc.edu website and announced public availability of the NBO 6.0 program, as well as enhanced NBOView 2.0 and new NBOPro 1.0 programs.

Colombian National Congress and School

Frank Weinhold delivered the plenary lecture, "What is a Hydrogen Bond?", and presented a series of three lectures on NBO theory at the combined "V-ENQTC" (5th National Congress of Theoretical and Computational Chemists) and "II-ECTCCM" (2nd Colombian School for Theory and Computation in the Molecular Sciences) in Guatapé, Colombia, chaired by Prof. Albeiro Restrepo of the University of Antioquia, Medellin.

Montpellier Workshop

Clark Landis presented a series of NBO Workshops throughout France, including Université Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris (18 students; 10 hrs. lecture and 15 hrs. computer lab), Université de Marseille (15 students, faculty, and postdocs; 2 hrs. lecture and 3 hrs. computer lab), and Université Montpellier (18 students from Germany, Spain, Norway, Holland, Italy, and France; 20 hrs. lecture and 15 hrs. computer lab and projects).
